Ending poverty through girl empowerment
Alongside running workshops for community members, we have implemented the Adolescent Girls Empowerment Program through regular after school clubs. This was developed to teach girls to build confidence and strong support networks, increase knowledge around reproductive health, and develop their decision-making skills.
The Girl Impact aids in the development and education of girls between the ages of 10 and 18 – a crucial time when a girl’s future potential and opportunities can flourish through education, skills learning, and social support, or be stunted by the irreversible effects of child marriage, early pregnancy, HIV, and other preventable hardships.
