This woman decided to make no excuses in her situation and ignored all the odds against her desire to sit for the South Sudan National Secondary Examinations today. Deciding to do exams with a few months' old infant in your lap is the most courageous thing anyone could think of. In South Sudan, where women continue to bear the burden of a biased culture, this seems even more impossible, but where determination meets ambition, impossible things become possible.
