Eye the Children is a non-governmental organization that advances the rights of children, empowers girls, and transforms communities to achieve their full potential. We are taking children seriously and envision a world where every child, including girls, can learn and has the right to survival, protection, development, and participation.
Eye the Children was founded in 2016 in response to outbreaks of violence and the influx of internally displaced persons (IDPs) and unaccompanied displaced children in South Sudan. We are registered with the Relief and Rehabilitation Commission (RRC) as a national organization under Chapter 3, Section 10 of the NGOs Act, 2016.
We are a member of South Sudan NGOs forum. We believe that every child, young person, and their families have the potential to make a positive difference in the world, and we are committed to helping them realize that potential. We ensure that every child grows up healthy, happy and safe. Because every child has the right to achieve its full potential. We build better lives for children and their families to help them fulfil their potential. We believes every child deserves a future. Because Every Child Deserves Childhood.
We work with children, communities, and governments in the country, and we believe in the right person for the job regardless of religion, race, ethnicity, gender, or where you come from and how you identify yourself. Therefore, Eye the Children is an organization that strives to share ideas and a resource commensurate to societal development needs of South Sudanese people. In all endeavors, Eye the Children will provide equal opportunities to disadvantaged groups in her areas of operation.
